Sitting at high elevation, Bobby Gordon & Rowena Henry's garden in Gembrook has panoramic views of the Warburton Valley.

Director of Robert Gordon, Bobby Gordon, and his partner Rowena Henry (Gordon Henry Architects), have forged a deep love-affair with a unique family home in the hills of Gembrook. The July issue of Country Style Magazine showcases their luscious green grounds with fruit orchards, mature trees, and native bushland that wraps around the mid 20th century home.

"You've got to be clever and go with the fall of the land. It makes sense for the flat areas to be lawned, with the steeper sections built up as banked gardens. You really feel the seasons up here, and having that connection is part and parcel of living in the country."

"We were inner-city dwellers, and this is the first time we've had acreage. Thankfully, we've discovered we love gardening. It's very green in Gembrook, which is what makes this area so beautiful. Everything grows so well in the rich red soil."

Their home also features our Dish Wall Sconce in the Storm glaze.
